After a month of daily use, the boar bristles have softened beautifully while still getting through my thick hair without tugging. The wood and horn construction feels far more substantial than any plastic brush I've owned, and it polishes my hair to a natural shine.

The boar bristles are firm but not scratchy, and they really do a job on my thick hair without pulling. The stag horn handle warms up nicely in the hand, feels proper and sturdy. Took a bit to get used to the size, but now it's my go-to for a clean, tidy finish.
